Folsom,
NJ – South Jersey Gas wants to alert motorists that beginning on Monday, January 30, the company will perform work in the median of the Black Horse Pike between Harding Highway and Wrangleboro Road, adjacent to the Hamilton Mall complex, to repair a natural gas valve.
While work will not take place directly in the roadway, the left lane of traffic will be closed in each direction for the duration of the project. Eastbound traffic in the vicinity of work will be restricted to one lane, while westbound traffic will have two lanes open.
The project should take approximately five working days to complete, dependent on weather conditions. Work will generally be performed Monday-Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. but could potentially extend into the later evening.
SJG is working with officials from the NJ Department of Transportation, Atlantic County and Hamilton Township to coordinate work in a way that limits disruptions as much as possible.
