SJI supports and encourages a culture of volunteerism. Employee volunteerism increases the value of the financial investment SJI makes to meet the critical needs of our communities.
Employee involvement, which includes time, money, talent and leadership, is a popular form of philanthropy at SJI. Our employees are committed to “giving back” to the communities where they live and work. Hundreds of our employees dedicate their time, talent and expertise to volunteering for charitable organizations that serve and support issues important to them while meeting critical needs in our communities.
In addition to their own volunteer activities, SJI employees actively participate in year-round fundraising activities for the American Heart Association, March of Dimes, and United Way.
